Get into a country boat and row your way through the gentle river, which has crystal clear cold water, along the palm fringed backwaters absorbing the beauty of Kerala villages. You can see country boats carrying paddy or fish, fishermen casting the day’s catch, agile men climbing on coconut palms, toddy tapper on coconut tree collecting toddy (fermented sap), children splashing water, the kingfisher diving in for fish, the twitter of birds. You can also witness the point where the backwaters and the sea meets each other. The soft warmth of the rising sun and the wind whispering on sand - the voice of Kerala.

Another Major Attraction at Green Lagoon is the Azheekal Beach located near oachira City. It is one of the Untouched Lovely Beaches in Kerala.This beach also has a man-made road which stretches into the sea. The beach also witnesses the point where the backwaters start flowing towards the land. A lovely point to witness the sunset in the Arabian sea on clear sky days.
